NEED THE COPS
Re: One dead, bystander hit in Forest Lawn shooting. And the geniuses at Calgary city hall are considering to defund CPS. Local politicians need to wake up, either to jump-start their brains or pluck their heads out of the sand pile, or both. The bad boys are going to be around, terrorizing the city of Calgary and its citizens for a very long time from now!
DONALD K. MUNROE
(We’ll always have bad guys and police.)

NFL IS BETTER!
It was great to experience the return of NFL football, fans or no fans. The story lines, the hype, the NFL always lives up to expectations. The biggest, best and most exciting league in the world continues to roll on. I haven’t watched the CFL in years and, if it never comes back, it can’t be the blame of the coronavirus but the poorly run league that it is. Go Hawks!
DAVE CLARK
(An odd thing to gloat about.)

SUSPICIOUS MINDS
It seems very hinky that the WE Charity shuts down right after the PM prorogues parliament. Why hasn’t the RCMP raided the HQ and seized computers, files, and every thing in the office?
GRAHAM MORELAND
(We hope they have gathered whatever they need to give this situation a good going over. Bonus point for use of ‘hinky’.)
