New South Wales has recorded 17 new coronavirus cases and the first death in nearly three months.
An 83-year-old man died on Saturday morning after being linked to the cluster of cases from the Crossroads Hotel, the NSW Department of Health revealed.
The prominent Bavarian pub in Manly was forced to close for deep cleaning after a customer tested positive to the deadly virus.
