Reader letter: Wear a mask to protect those of us in poor health

Regarding the recent protest at city hall by those who believe they “have the right to say ‘no’ to masks.”

Yes you do, but keep in mind other people.

I am a senior on a waiting list to go to London to have a heart valve replacement. Without which, according to the surgeon, I will not live longer than two more years.

If I catch anything, including COVID-19, it would be a death sentence.

So, I also have the right to say “wear a mask for the sake of people like me.”
